Temporary email addresses: randomly generated, or a custom name you choose. They are anonymous and are not linked to your real identity.

Received messages: emails sent to a temporary address are stored briefly so you can read them, then deleted automatically when the address expires.

Extension data on your device: your current temporary address and your settings (autofill on or off, and your per-site exception list) are kept in your browser local storage, not collected by us.

Basic technical data: like most websites, our servers process limited technical information such as IP address and request time, solely to operate the Service, apply rate limits, and prevent abuse.

We never ask for your name, real email, phone number, password, or payment details.

To create temporary addresses and deliver the messages they receive.

To show your inbox and unread count.

To keep the Service reliable and secure, including rate limiting and preventing abuse and spam.

The extension requests permissions only to provide its features: storage (save your current address and settings locally), alarms (periodically check the inbox to update the badge count), tabs (read the active site domain for the exception list and open your inbox), and access to tempmail.ai (to create addresses and fetch the inbox).

Its content script runs on web pages only to place the autofill button next to email and account fields. It reads field attributes locally to decide where to show the button; it does not read, collect, or transmit the content of the pages you visit.

The extension fills only the temporary address it generated for you, and only when you click the button. It never accesses your real email accounts or passwords, contains no remote code, and performs no third-party tracking.

Temporary addresses and the emails they receive are short-lived and deleted automatically after they expire; we do not keep them long-term.

Settings saved by the extension stay on your device until you change them or remove the extension.

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.

We may rely on trusted service providers (such as hosting and infrastructure) that process data only to run the Service on our behalf.

We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect the Service against fraud, abuse, or security threats.

The website may use cookies and analytics (such as Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service.

The browser extension itself uses no advertising cookies and performs no user tracking.

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect the Service. However, temporary mailboxes are public by nature — anyone who knows an address can view its inbox — so please do not use them for sensitive, confidential, or important messages.

The Service is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone below the minimum age required by the laws of their country (generally 13 or 16). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

The Service may be operated from, and information processed in, countries other than yours. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in those locations.

Because we require no account or personal data and temporary addresses expire on their own, there is little personal data to access or delete. You can generate a new address at any time, adjust or clear the extension settings, and uninstall the extension to remove data stored locally.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be shown by updating the date at the top of this page.
